CPA Affiliates Top 5 Azoogle CPA Offers that Work!

2 People Speaking Their Mind - Put In Your Two Cents!

Posted on September 13, 2006 in Affiliate Tips

Periodically we will choose a CPA Network and discuss the Top 5 converting offers that work for us. Today we will discuss some of the hottest CPA offers on Azoogle that are out there and why they convert so well. Below is our Top Five converting offers that we run from Azoogle Network.

  1. Dada.net 10 Bonus Tones & 300 SMS Messages
  2. Thumbplay 10 No Charge Ringtones
  3. Quality Health Samples
  4. Free Crest Whitestrips Kit
  5. Blinko Complimentary Ringtones

As you can see ringtone offers are three of the top five offers that perform well for me from Azoogle. I read posts in forums all the time that ask if the ringtone market is saturated, these make me laugh. Most offers ringtone or whatever offer are never too saturated if you can come up with a unique way to promote them, this takes some thinking outside of the box. If you put up a ringtone page and go to Google Adwords and bid on ringtones most likely you are going to lose money. If you think of different ways to promote ringtones then you have a good shot of making money. *HINT* Target specifics like niches within ringtones. As you can see by our list ringtones promotion works for me!

Why does Dada.net perform the best for me? The main reason is for my type of promotions it converts well and pays well (One of the highest paying ringtone offers out their). Many people try to put up a ringtone offer if it doesn’t work they give up, maybe your audience has seen that offer. Try another ringtone offer it may convert like crazy or it may not but you won’t know until you try.

The other two offers that perform well are two freebies. People love free stuff and are always searching the internet for freebies. As with ringtones you just have to think outside of the box and make sure to target the right audience.

The biggest advice I can offer is talk with your manager at Azoogle. Jeremy is my manager and a great one at that. The managers are there to help you convert offers and make money. I have gotten many suggestions from my manager (Jeremy) that has made a big difference in my earnings.

CPA Network & Affiliate Terms You Should Know.

1 Person Speaking Their Mind - Put In Your Two Cents!

Posted on September 11, 2006 in Affiliate Information

I know everyone out there hears tons of acronyms everyday in their normal work and online chat. This article is to bring some clarity for those entering the CPA Affiliate market. I will go over some terms and abbreviations and explain what they mean. This will help you in looking at your reports from CPA networks and just gain a better understanding of the market and terms they use.

Advertiser (Merchant) – A person, corporation, or website wanting to promote or sell something. With each promotion or sale the advertiser will provide payment.

Publisher (Affiliate) – A person, corporation, or website willing to promote or sell something for compensation.

CPA – Cost Per Action, This is the Amount you are paid for the action as a Publisher (Affiliate), or the amount you pay for the action as an Advertiser (Merchant). Action can mean information (email, name, address, etc..) or can be a purchase of an item.

PPC – Pay Per Click, This is a term used more for advertisers and is the amount the Advertiser (Merchant) is paying when someone clicks on an ad to their site.

EPC – Earnings Per Click, This is the amount you are paid per click as a Publisher (Affiliate). This comes in handy when you are running a PPC campaign to promote a CPA offer. You can compare your EPC to your PPC if your EPC is larger than your PPC you are making money. If your network doesn’t provide EPC (most do) you just take the amount made divided by the number of clicks on the ad.

Lead – The Information entered or sale complete for you (Publisher (Affiliate)) to get paid for a CPA offer you are running. Example - You run a CPA campaign for Free Ipod on your site where you get paid when someone goes to that site and enters their email. When the person enters their email this is called a Lead for which you are paid.

CTR – Click Thru Ratio, usually a percentage, CTR is the ad impressions divided by the clicks. Example If an ad is shown 50 times and is clicked 10 the CTR is 20%.

Incentive – Publisher (Affiliate) Offering something in return for an action. Many networks allow you to provide incentives to the user for generating a lead. This can be in the form of a product, membership or cash in return for them generating the lead. (Please check with your CPA network manager to make sure incentives are allowed for the CPA.)

Sub ID (Tracking ID) – This is a way to track which users generated a lead or which of your sites the user generated a lead from. This way you get more detailed reports of where or who the lead came from. Example - When using an incentive CPA that you reward the member for signing up, you can use this feature to find out which of your members completed the action and they can be properly compensated.

Referral – When a Publisher (Affiliate)  refers a person to a CPA Network. Most CPA networks offer some form of compensation for referring other Publishers (Affiliates) to their network. This is usually a small percentage of their earnings.

I hope this helps clarify some of the terms that are used often by CPA Networks and Affiliates.

Do’s and Don’ts of Myspace CPA Promotions

No One Has Commented Yet - Put In Your Two Cents!

Many people ask what they can and can’t do with Myspace and CPA promotions. (ultimately you should contact your CPA manager and ask what their guidelines are for myspace promotion) These are CPA Affiliates 5 Do and Don’t tips for myspace promotion.

Do:

1. Get a Myspace account and start adding friends.

2. Talk with other people that have used Myspace to promote CPA’s and websites.

3. Try to be unique with your promotion and targeted. (just sending a bulletin with title Free Ringtone doesn’t cut it anymore, plus use of free is banned from most ringtone offers now)

4. Be honest about your Myspace promotion.

5. Promote a site that contains offers, instead of promoting offers directly.

Don’t:

1. Spam Myspace with affiliate links. (could get you banned from myspace and your affiliate network)

2. Add to many friends with an Adder robot (could get you banned from myspace)

3. Use Phished or hacked accounts to send promotions. (could get you banned from myspace and you affiliate network) (maybe even sued)

4. Trust everyone that will send a bulletin for for you. Many are using phished or hacked accounts which if push came to shove you could be held partially liable. (You don’t want lawsuits and being banned from Myspace or affiliate networks)

5. Just sit there and not try to capitolize on the Myspace fad. (create a myspace site, a site that appeals to teens and use myspace to catapult that site!)

The Do’s and Don’ts of Myspace promotions listed above are to help inform and give some insight of honest ways to promote via myspace. As always consult with your affiliate manager before performing any promotion your think is pushing the limits, as ultimately you are responsible for the traffic that is pushed to your affiliate links.
