Great post!

One thing I have found that works fairly well is to build a nich website or blog around an affiliate program. Learn all you can about the market and your target. Prospects will come with an interest of what you have to offer.

I for one don't like it when someone tries to force something down my throat.

Just a little something I have learned. I thought that I would add it here for reference.

I have found that using the Adwords CPM feature allows me to place targeted ads on sites I pre-select
for their ad placement and content. I pay per impression, not click. I am getting far fewer clickthrus than ppc, but, my traffic quality is higher. Also, my daily ad spend is much lower

I'll admit that I'm a total beginner at this, as I generally use pure content sites with adsense.

I'm guessing that the crux of this is to use adwords to drive traffic to a landing page in an attempt to make a sale? I've dabbled with adwords but it seems so expensive. So I guess my question is, do you use adword alternatives and if so, which are the most affective?

Cheers.
