Making CPA Networks Make You More Money!
Posted on October 15, 2006 in Affiliate Tips p>
Many people ask me how I am able to make the money I do via the internet. My first response is lots of hard work. Then I tell them I don’t limit my revenue stream. I will discuss how diversifying your revenue stream which will make you more money.
Many people make money with Adsense and have maybe even tried using cpa networks but many end up relying on Adsense. Why would someone do this when cpa offers are more profitable? Because Adsense makes it easy, you just post the code on your site and most likely it will make money.
So you have adsense on your site and it makes money, why should you try CPA offers? Because they payouts are better and once you target your audience your overall revenue will increase. For Example I had a site that ran adsense I made about 40 dollars a day on average with adsense. This isn’t a fortune but hey it’s only one site. I decide to try CPA offers and at first I didn’t make much of anything but after some minor tweaking the money started coming in. I targeted my audience with CPA offers in addition to Adsense which brought my daily earnings for that site up to 110 a day meaning I added 70 dollars a day by promoting CPA offers.
The profit doesn’t have to stop there. For months I thought I was doing well until I started signing up for various CPA networks. I signed up for Maxbounty, Azoogle, and HydraMedia. After some researching I realized for the site in the example Maxbounty had the offers that converted the best and on top of that they had the best payout for those offers. This took my overall daily profit from 110 a day to 130 a day. The only reason for the 20 dollar a day increase was due to payout and if I hadn’t tried other networks and found Maxbounty I would not be making the additional 20 a day.
The main point of this article is maybe you are doing well with a CPA network, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t sign up for other CPA networks. You could be missing out on earnings due to payouts but also keep in mind that each network has its own exclusive offers. Example: You have a site that appeals to young males and you use HydraMedia only. You wouldn’t know that Maxbounty has a great converting offer that is an email signup offer for a Free Year Subscription for the 3 hottest men’s magazines. In this case Hydra doesn’t have this offer but Maxbounty does. So make sure to signup for multiple networks and don’t hesitate if you have a favorite network to ask them for a higher payout if you find out another network is paying more for the same offer.

Easy Money with CPA Networks is Hard!
Posted on October 9, 2006 in Affiliate Information, Affiliate Tips p>
This weekend was a crazy one for me. I saw lots of posts and emails asking about why they keep reading about how easy it is to make money online but yet they are having a hard time doing it.
Why do people say Internet money is easy money?
Because those who have things working for them on the internet seem to have it easy as they have a well oiled machine basically printing money for them. Remember it could have taken months or even years to get where they are at and they may have a team of experts working for them. (Work Smarter not Harder)
How do I Earn Easy Money?
Well I don’t. I work hard everyday looking for new trends on the net, new products, new offers, analyzing existing sites and campaigns. I am constantly tweaking and changing things. People around me see that I can leave for weeks at a time and still pay the bills think I have it made.
What people don’t see:
* Times where I am up at 3:00am coding or working on a campaign/ website because I had a great idea or have an issue that needs resolved.
* When I am away form home and can’t find an internet connection I drive around the town in search of free wifi etc…
* The years of work I have put into this business and times I have failed that are long gone or could have been yesterday. (But I roll with the punches and keep trying)
* The times my wife yells at me for spending too much time on the PC.
* The thousands I have spent and lost money on doing trial and error and new design layouts.
* The Days where I am ready to quit as my listings get dropped from the search engines or my payout goes down do to smart pricing or my campaigns get rejected for no real reason. (But I roll with the punches and keep trying)
There is much more than these that people don’t see, but this gives you an idea. While there isn’t really easy money, once you learn that trial and error and never giving up is key then you are already ahead of the game. So if you failed at a CPA campaign or your website is only making .05 a day instead of 5.00 don’t give up trying something else, look for advice there are many forums and blogs like this one that will give advice. Whatever you do don’t give up.
A side note: Throwing up any old ad with Iframed offer doesn’t always cut it. Do your research think outside of the box this will get you earning more. As anyone can put up a page iframed or with a banner be different and i bet you will make money!

AzoogleAds Responds Affiliate Marketing Rumors On Wickedfire
Posted on October 3, 2006 in Affiliate Networks, Affiliate Information p>
Many of you may have seen the post on Wickedfire Forums concerning Azoogle Laying off 16 people and that it was relate to affiliate marketting slowing down. It appears it is just a trimming of the fat at Azoogle to continue to grow. See Alex, Co-founder of Azoogleads response below:
Hi guys,
We did in fact let go of some people in our Toronto office, around 16 employees. This has nothing to do with the “cpa industry slowing down.” In fact, we are still growing like a weed. Azoogle still has almost 140 employees. In any growing company, you need to hire the best but also you need to ensure that you trim your staff when necessary to remove redundant employees, as well as your lowest performers. Just because someone “does the job” does not mean that they deserve to keep it. If someone else can service the client better, then we want the better employee to service the client. Azoogle was not built by hiring employees that were just “good enough,” we want the best and brightest in the industry to lead this company.
This round of spring cleaning won’t really affect affiliates at all, as the affiliate group is only growing, in fact its nearly twice bigger today than it was 6 months ago.
Cheers!
Alex
PPC or SEO for CPA Promotions
Posted on October 2, 2006 in Affiliate Tips p>
From time to time in forums I see a post asking about PPC (Pay Per Click) and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) promotion for CPA offers. Today I am going to discuss some the advantages and disadvantages of both.
SEO – Search Engine Optimization traffic
Advantage:
1. This traffic is “free” besides the time and effort you have put in to get your site ranked.
2. Your site or landing page can continue to get higher position by link exchanges and other “free” promotion methods
3. Money that would be spent on PPC can be used to hire on designers promoters etc.
Disadvantage:
1. If the search engine changes the algorithm your site could drop from its high listing.
2. The effort and time put into SEO could have been used on building up other sites or landing pages.
3. Getting good rankings in a search engine can take time. Could be a month could be a year.
PPC – Pay Per Click
Advantage:
1. Instant traffic at a price you are willing to pay.
2. If budget is unlimited you can receive major traffic to your site or landing page.
3. Time can be used for multiple landing pages and ads.
Disadvantage:
1. It costs money
2. Google and others are making it more difficult to get good rankings. Buying a top spot for an unrelated landing page will soon be a thing of the past.
3. To stay in top rankings you may have to bid more due to competition.
While there are advantages and disadvantages to both methods of CPA promotions, they both can be profitable ways to promotes CPA offers. Many people assume that Big Earners only do PPC promotion, but the truth is many of them do 10% to 30% PPC and the rest is SEO promotion. Why? Because in essence it is “free” traffic. I personally suggest using both methods and lean towards the one you have more success with. If you are already good at SEO then use it to your advantage. If PPC ad copy comes as second nature use that to your advantage, but don’t limit yourself to just one or another.
