More often than not, I find myself having the same ideas, but putting them to action is the hardest part! Everything seems to balance out. When subscription sales are down, contextual revenue is up and product sales are still strong. I agree that KISS is crucial. I have a tendency to overcomplicate pages, as I'm told by most people that I ask to review them. Simplifying is one of my goals this year. On an extremely large project I have set up a revenue share agreement with a top-notch web design and development firm, with no up front cost. I could NEVER accomplish what they're doing so to me it is worth it. Lastly I would like to try out more CPA. So far with aZoogle I've experienced terrible conversions, but my main site is very niche. So I might set up some smaller arbitrage sites.
