Grant thats a good sized flounder ares were small good eaten ones like 2 lbs. We were using an artifical shrimp bait called DOA and also using live shrimp. We were more going after eaten fish than big fish, hence why the biggest ones we kept were around 3lbs.

Nice Fish! My record is a 20" 3.5lb flounder. I was excited to catch that one! I've seen people catching 9lb ones off the coast of NC, but I've yet to catch the occasional one here and there. What were you using for bait, live mullet?
