I am curious as to why some of you guys and gals that read my blog as to why you do what you do online. I personnally do it as a full time job and love it as a full time job. I plan to NEVER go back to a 9 to 5 B&M (Brick & Mortar) type job ( I was an Electrical Engineer). There is too much freedom with working online and for yourself. I can work anywhere there is internet, could be my home, Starbucks, my relatives in another state etc.. Plus there is Money to be made and not just money but if you do it right you can make a LOT of money online. This can be done part-time or full-time. I also enjoy the freedom of knowing if i need run errands with my wife, I can. I don’t have to ask anyone if i want to go on vacation or call in if i am sick. I guess 2nd to the money is the freedom for me.
So why do you work online? Leave a comment and tell us why.

I make a living online, working full time, and for me it’s about freedom, flexibility and the big bucks.Running 1,5 years now, with no plans to stop.
I do alright on the internet, still like the safety net of the dayjob, and find it fun just how far I can push the part time element.
Like you, money and freedom. Been doing it full time since 1999.

I love it, and hope to be making enough to quite my full-time job soon enough
Unfortunately I make nothing from Affiliate marketing yet
I work online full-time for a number of reasons. One, I love it. There’s nothing else I’d rather do. Two, the money is great. Three, the freedom is unbelievable. I love not having a boss and being able to do what I want to do whenever I want to do it.
I’m addicted to the internet… I have a brain like a spunge and the Net’s an open ocean… I like pushing the boundaries of possibility and satisfying my entrepreneurial spirit!
I’ve been working online for 10 years now, and hopefully I can make enough to stop.
I am making money online while working as an SEO at Freezone Internet(UK).
I want to make money from CPA networks but didnt earn that much so i read this blog learn new tips and want to make new friends so that i will learn more and satisfy my eager soul who wants to earns money online.
I started about a year ago. I would like to make enough online to quit my day job. Freedom is the #1 reason for me as it will allow me to work anywhere. My ideal day would be to work at a cafe shop and just chat with people that come in once in awhile to keep that social part of my life enriched. Also being able to take my grandma to places wherever she needs to go as she is pretty old and I don’t want her to take the bus or count on other people.
So hopefully this will happen soon! I know it will..just have to find that one break!
I haven’t started yet, but my top reason is potential freedom, career is software/web dev.
I’m in Russia, awaiting a potential offer from a big company in the USA, if they choose to not hire me I’m going to quit my day job here in a couple of months to work on freelance projects and try out various ways of making money independently; just wanted to get some insight beforehand.
The web is still one of the biggest opportunities to make money. Double digit growth could continue for another decade. Real estate, the stock market, forget it. This is the place to be. (And all the perks of mobility and self-direction just seal the deal.)
